About Us
JLS Stonemasonry is based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and has been working in landscape and structural stonemasonry with architects, builders, quarries and homeowners on residential, commercial and heritage sites since 1999.
We have learnt the ancient craft of stonemasonry from one of Sydney’s master stonemasons who has shared 40 years experience and knowledge in restoration and modern sandstone construction. We have been designing, carving, and building homes, fireplaces, pillars and arches, water features, retaining walls, patios for more than 10 years.
Our company is registered with the National Heritage Trust and has worked on heritage-listed buildings in Sydney and Newcastle.
We have worked with a wide range of natural stones but specialise in sandstone – turning ideas and dreams into reality.

JLS Stonemasonry has committed to providing a federation of services so that you can choose one or more of the services that may be appropriate for your project. In order to provide these services, we provide the following resources:
A fleet of vehicles, including a crane truck, to transport stone, enabling us to:
- Source and supply all types of sandstone from different areas of Australia giving a greater range and variety of stone available to you.
- make our own stone pick-ups and deliveries, which allows us to lock in timeframes for construction, and manage transport costs.
Latest equipment in alignment with OH&S; standards
- We are committed to ensuring that we minimise the level of dust that is created on-site during the stonemasonry project by using an Abaco site saw as well as vacuum systems and wet saws.
Project Location
We are happy to work anywhere in the Hawkesbury Basin from Newcastle to Nowra on the south coast, as well as across the Sydney region from the Eastern Suburbs to the Blue Mountains.
